Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Lifter Media LLC ("Lifter Media," "we," or "us") is the website and local-search business run by Luis Aguirre. This policy describes information handled through liftermedia.com, inquiries, and client work. For privacy questions, email hello@liftermedia.com.
2. Information we collect
When you request a review or proposal, we receive your name, business name, email, city or service area, selected service, and any website address or message you provide. If you become a client, we also handle project correspondence, supplied materials, account access needed for the work, and billing records. Please do not submit passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information through the inquiry forms.
When you visit, our hosting and external resource providers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested resources, and request time. Your browser may also send a referring page address.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide the review or proposal you request.
- To manage client projects, communicate about work, and handle invoices and payments.
- To operate the website, investigate problems, maintain records, and meet legal obligations.
Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. We do not sell inquiry information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Service providers and external resources
- Netlify: hosts this site and processes inquiry-form submissions, including spam filtering. It handles technical request information and the details you submit. See its privacy policy.
- Google Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google. Your browser connects to Google to retrieve them, exposing technical request information including your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy information.
- Unsplash: some page backgrounds load from Unsplash servers. Those requests disclose technical information to that provider. See the Unsplash privacy policy.
- PayPal: we use PayPal for client invoicing and payments. It processes billing and payment information under its own privacy statement. This website does not collect card numbers. We receive invoice and transaction information needed to manage payments.
- Email and project tools: providers supporting our correspondence and project records process information needed for those functions.
Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. External websites linked from our portfolio have their own privacy practices. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries; applicable protections can differ from those where you live.
5. Cookies, storage, and tracking
The current site does not include advertising pixels or browser-based analytics scripts. Its theme feature uses browser local storage, rather than a cookie, to remember a display preference when enabled. The theme selector is currently disabled; a previously saved preference may remain in your browser and can be removed through your browser settings.
The site does not change its behavior in response to the browser’s Do Not Track signal. We do not use site scripts to track your browsing across unrelated websites. External font and image providers receive requests when their resources load and handle that information under their own policies; we do not control their independent practices.
If our tracking tools or data uses change, we will update this policy and provide any choices or consent mechanisms required by applicable law.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry, client relationship, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations. The period depends on the information and its purpose. You can request deletion; some records may need to be kept for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons. Service providers may retain their own records under their policies.
No online service or method of storage is completely secure. Please contact us if you believe information you provided has been compromised. Any required notifications will be handled according to applicable law.
7. Your choices and requests
Email hello@liftermedia.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond in accordance with applicable requirements and explain any limits on a request.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, or a complaint to a privacy regulator. Rights under laws such as the CCPA and GDPR depend on their applicability; this policy does not assume every provision applies to this business.
8. Children
This site offers business services and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can address it.
9. Policy changes
We will post revisions on this page and update the date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
